To live is to die

A spontaneous creation

I felt the urge to just sit down and draw, letting go of everyday life just for a little bit and lose myself in the process of sketching. It started as a sketch, simple and free. I didn’t know where it would go, only that I needed to begin.

“Just make something” is a motto that reminds me not to overthink, to create even when I don’t have a clear plan, and to get out of my own way. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is simply start.

The title carries the thoughts that surfaced while I worked, musing about life. Reflections on being here, on making the most of what is fleeting. Life doesn’t promise permanence, but there’s a quiet beauty in learning to cherish it while it lasts.
