When life gives you branches…
This piece was born in a time of unraveling – when everything in life felt like it was pulling at me, each thread wanting its own part of me. There were branches offered, but I couldn’t yet hold them – or maybe I wasn’t ready to.
There are times when the weight of being feels endless, when everything blurs into ache. And yet, among the heaviness, there are stars. Tiny, insistent, quiet. They remind me that even when everything is falling away, something luminous still finds its way in.
Now, when I sit with this piece, I feel something close to compassion – for the one I was then, and the one I am now. There’s grace in learning to look at yourself gently, even when you’re in pieces.
